Camas has promoted assistant football coach Adam Mathieson to be the new Papermakers head coach.
Coach Mathieson joined the Camas staff for the 2023 season after 15 seasons as the head coach of Mountain View High School in Vancouver. During his time as the Thunder head coach, Mathieson went 99-52, capturing 5 league championships (6 counting the COVID season of 2020-2021) and advanced to the post season 10 times, including 5 WIAA state playoff appearances and one trip to the 3A Semifinals in 2018.
Coach Mathieson works at Camas High School as a counselor and assistant athletic director.
Former head coach Jack Hathaway will remain at Camas High School in the Physical Education Department as well as stay on the football staff as an assistant coach!
